ANTODAYA has been involved with land alienation issue prior to its formation. It helped the poor tribals of Thuamul Rampur block to restore around two hundred acres of land from the powerful money landing groups. As the prevailing trend, the tribals pledge their land in the hands of these groups at a much higher interest when they need money badly. But latter they are unable to release their only asset of survival and hence loose it fast. The whole process of acquisition involved bitter struggle with the powerful groups resulting in fatal attack on the present chairman.District Government authorities supported the organization fully in its endeavor. Eventually it was able to restore the lands of tribal people of its project are.The organization also played important role in helping the tribals to legalize their age-old homestead and agricultural land by liaisoning with the district authorities
